Carry a Baby Duo Checklist

A pre-run card for parent and baby before grass, snow, or lava.

Duo Checklist

Use this page as a card, not as a novel. The tools hub explains the idea. This page is the list you paste. Teach it once, then play. If your partner hates reading, send them getting started and keep the numbered list in chat.

Carry a Baby wipes on missing calls, not on missing Robux. The checklist exists so a random on a 10-player server can still finish World 1 with you.

Paste block

  1. Opposite pads — one parent, one baby.
  2. Weld in lobby. Shop after the badge, not before.
  3. Calls: park / crawl / button / wait / up.
  4. Baby hugs one maze wall.
  5. No World 2 until World 1 badge.
  6. Lava: tap jump, one revive, then reset.
  7. Let other duos take a crib if they were first.

That is the whole paste. The rest of this page is why each line exists, so you can argue from facts instead of vibes.

Line 1 — pads

Two morphs. Two pads. If you both pick baby, nobody jumps logs. If you both pick parent, nobody finishes the maze. Role theory: roles hub. Do not enter a world portal until both morphs loaded.

Line 2 — weld and shop

Sit, then walk. Pirate can wait. The stroller tier list is a lobby page. Codes, if they ever exist, also wait until you are standing still — how to redeem. A parent in the shop while the baby is on grass is a failed line 2.

Line 3 — five words

Park on cribs. Crawl as baby. Button once. Wait for teleports. Up for pickup. The essay version is how to protect. If your partner uses other words, translate once, then stick to these five. Mixed vocabulary is how lasers land.

Line 4 — maze wall

World 1’s last baby job. One wall, all the way. Guessing is slower. World 1 walkthrough places the maze in desert. Parents wait outside. Typing in the maze is how you lose the pair behind you on a crowded server.

Line 5 — World 2 gate

Complete World 1 first. The 2 percent badge is a different game. World 2 walkthrough is optional until you can park on command. Clicking the portal because the UI glows is how you donate a session to lava.

Line 6 — lava rules

Tap jump. One revive if it was a misclick. Then lobby. Scripts are not a line on this card. The scripts hub has nothing verified, and a fly hack will still desync the baby.

Line 7 — pad manners

Ten players. Multiple cribs. Do not body-block a stranger’s tunnel. Do not fling. If you want chaos, play a troll tower clone. This experience is a weld joke, not a slap game.

After a fail

Do not add line 8 in anger. Reset, reread the one heading you failed, and run the paste again. Controls if the sit broke. Parent or baby if the wrong kit took the jump. Changelog only if a patch actually moved a tile.

Print the paste block. That is the tool. Everything else on this wiki is backup for when a random ignores line 3 and walks into an axe anyway. Re-paste after every wipe so the five call words stay in chat history, then keep running World 1 until the badge pops.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for parents, babies, and duo teams.

Can I shorten the paste?

Keep all seven lines. Cutting the maze line is how World 1 stalls.

Does this work with randoms?

Yes. That is the point. If they ignore it after one trap, find another pad.

Should I add a stroller pick?

Only after World 1. Default is enough. See stroller ranks.

Is this required for World 2?

World 2 assumes you already do lines 3 and 6 without looking. Read the World 2 walkthrough too.
