Carry a Baby Callouts

Park, crawl, button, wait, up — the five words when voice chat is off.

Carry a Baby Callouts

Carry a Baby turns two people into one weld. The weld dies on missing words, not on missing Robux. Voice chat is off on the experience. Camera is off too. You type in Roblox chat, you sit on Discord, or you call on a phone. This page is the five-word sheet those channels should carry: park, crawl, button, wait, up. The tools hub is the map of sheets. This page is the vocabulary.

The game launched on 18 September 2024 from +1 Block Each Time / LoopedGaming. Place 101863423902563, universe 6571312976. Online co-op, server size 10. Worlds 1 and 2 have badges. There is no World 3 badge. The last client refresh is 4 July 2026. None of those facts add in-game voice. If you queued expecting proximity chat, you will wipe on the first crib unless you already agreed how to talk.

Why voice is off

The official experience disables voice chat. That is a setting, not a bug you fix with a game pass. VIP is a cart, not a talk channel. Pirate is a cart, not a headset. You cannot buy speech. You can buy a look, then still type park.

Pick a channel before pads:

  • Roblox text — works with randoms on a 10-player server. Slow. Fine if the words are short.
  • Discord — works with a friend in another room. Keep the overlay off the jump button.
  • Phone — fastest. Still use the same five words so the jumper and the crawler do not invent dialects.

Inputs for sit, jump, and crawl live on controls. The words on this page are when those inputs happen, not which key they bind to. A mobile parent and a PC baby can still finish World 1 if they share vocabulary instead of key names.

The five words

Keep these five and nothing else on the first run. Translate once if your partner uses other verbs, then stick.

Park. Parent full-stops on a crib, a hole, or a tunnel mouth. Not “kinda stop.” Not “I am ready.” Park off the danger volume. The baby cannot crawl if the cart is still sliding into a laser. Parent habits live on parent.

Crawl. Baby exits and uses the small kit. Low lasers, tight tunnels, maze walls. Hopping is how you hit the beam. Stay sat until you hear park. Baby habits live on baby.

Button. Press once. Spamming a teleport while the parent is mid-axe is a wipe. Spamming a door because you are bored is a wipe. One prompt, one press, then look up.

Wait. Parent plants for a baby teleport or a cycle. Walking during wait is the classic snow fail. Wait is also the lava word: do not start a boulder early. Wait means feet still, camera on the partner.

Up. Pick up and sit. Parent turns around after a bridge. Baby walks to the cart prompt. Do not jump the next gap until the sit completes. Up is the weld coming back.

The trap essay behind those five is how to protect. This page does not replace that list. It names the calls so you can fire them in under a second.

Who says what

Parent should own park, wait, and up. Those are jumper jobs. Baby should own crawl and button. Those are rider jobs. Either of you can say wait if you see a moving parent. Either of you can refuse up if the next room is a maze — the baby should already be out.

If you both picked parent, nobody crawls. If you both picked baby, nobody parks on an adult gap. Role theory is on those two player pages. Callouts cannot fix a double morph. Reset to lobby pads, then talk.

Paste the short list from the duo checklist into chat before grass. Randoms will ignore long essays. They will sometimes obey five words. If they ignore park after one crib, find another pad. Ten players means another duo is already in the lobby.

How to fire them under pressure

Grass cribs: parent says park. Baby says crawl, then button, then up. That loop is the tutorial. Do it on purpose even when the tile looks obvious. Muscle memory beats a later wipe.

Snow teleports: baby looks at the parent. Parent says wait. Baby presses. If the parent walked, baby does not spam. The recover is plant, then one press, not five.

Desert maze: baby is already out. Parent says wait outside. Baby hugs one wall. Button once. Out. Typing novels inside the maze is how the pair behind you rages on a crowded server.

Axes and lasers: parent watches one cycle, then jumps. Baby stays sat unless the beam is a crawl job. Call crawl only for low volumes. Do not send a small morph across a wide open laser hallway because they look cute. The how to protect headings are the trap list; these sentences are the audio.

World 2 lava: same five words, higher cost. Wait is louder. Up is slower. One revive if the fail was a misclick. Leave if the fail was a bad read. The 4 July 2026 refresh did not add voice and did not add a World 3 badge. NEW UPDATE ON THE WAY still teases extra content. It did not give you a sixth call word.

What not to say

Do not narrate the joke. “Haha the baby is crying” is not park. Do not name keys. “Press space” fails when the partner is on a joystick — see controls for the actual inputs, then still call the job, not the key. Do not write a paragraph while the cart is on a log. Do not invent a sixth word for every trap. Axes still resolve with wait plus a tap jump.

Mixed dialects wipe runs. If your friend says “stop” instead of park, translate once: “stop means park.” Then use park. If a random pastes another language and you only have English, send the five English words anyway. Short is more portable than pretty.

Codes will not buy a voice channel. As of 30 August 2026 there are no live promo codes. Shop carts will not call traps for you. Cosmetics stay in the lobby. The sheet stays in chat. The tools hub will not auto-complete a trap either. You still have to say the word.

Drill before the portal

  1. Agree on the channel: text, Discord, or phone.
  2. Paste park / crawl / button / wait / up from the duo checklist.
  3. Confirm kits on parent and baby so the right person owns each word.
  4. Weld. Default cart is enough.
  5. Fire the five words on the first crib on purpose, even if it feels slow.
  6. Only then run the rest of World 1.

That drill is the tool. Say the word early. Say it once. Then move. Silent duos farm the 2 percent miss on World 2. Talking duos finish grass because park landed before the laser, not after.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for parents, babies, and duo teams.

Why can’t we use voice chat in Carry a Baby?

The experience has voice chat off. Type, use Discord, or call on a phone, then share the words on this page and the inputs on controls.

What are the five callout words?

Park, crawl, button, wait, up. Paste them from the duo checklist before grass. The tools hub maps the other sheets.

Who says park versus crawl?

Parent owns park, wait, and up. Baby owns crawl and button. Role habits sit on parent and baby.

Do World 2 callouts change?

No. Same five words, higher cost on lava. Pair them with how to protect so wait fires before a boulder, not after.
