Carry a Baby Guides
Every how-to for the 2-player stroller obby, from lobby pads to the World 2 badge.
Carry a Baby looks like a joke thumbnail and plays like a communication test. One of you pushes. One of you crawls. Traps do not care which of you is laughing. This hub is the map of every guide on the wiki. Start at the top if you have never opened the teleporters. Jump to World 2 only if you already hold the first badge.
The experience launched on 18 September 2024 and still sits in Obby & Platformer. Official stats show more than 100 million visits, a 90 percent like ratio, and a Complete World 2 earn rate near 2 percent. The guides below exist because that last number is not a skill issue with a shop cart — it is a duo issue.
New duos
Read getting started first. It covers lobby teleporters, the parent versus baby pick, and the first crib tile. Then open controls so mobile joysticks and PC jumps use the same callouts. If you queued with a stranger, pin the duo checklist in chat before you step on grass.
World routes
World 1 is grass, snow, and desert with a maze button at the end. About one in five players earns Complete World 1. Follow the World 1 walkthrough and do not skip the left-wall maze trick. World 2 starts at lava and punishes revive spam. The World 2 walkthrough is the separate skill check; bringing a gold stroller does not shorten it. Rank cosmetics on the stroller tier list after the run, not during it.
How to protect, how to complete
The search terms are honest: how to protect the baby, how to complete World 1, how to beat World 2, how to find the button, how to play with one friend. The how to protect guide is the mid-wiki answer for axes, lasers, logs, boulders, and lava. Role-specific pages live under parent and baby. Use those when you keep dying on the same trap because the wrong person is jumping.
What these guides will not do
They will not invent a code. See the codes hub. They will not paste a World 2 skip loader. See the scripts hub. They will not claim a Trello exists; the links hub lists the group wall instead. They also will not tell you the game is unreleased. Carry a Baby has been live since 2024. “New update coming” in the description is a patch teaser, not a launch date.
Suggested order for a first hour
- Getting started — lobby and first weld.
- Controls — jumps, crawl, sit.
- How to protect — crib tiles and trap cycles.
- World 1 — badge number two after Welcome.
- World 2 — only with a partner who already survived snow.\n6. Badges — Welcome plus the two completion awards.\n7. World map — biomes before you teleport.\n8. Review — whether the obby is worth a second session.\n9. Shop — lobby carts and wheel, not World 2 skips.
If you have extra time, read the players hub so you can swap roles without a full requeue. Then shop using stroller ranks. That is a complete first hour for a 15-minute average session stacked two or three times.
Videos
Each long guide embeds one real YouTube session in the middle of the article. We do not stack three facades on a page and we do not invent IDs. If two creators recorded the same World 1 maze, you get one walkthrough, not two. Watch the embed, then keep reading — the text is the callout sheet the video will not pause for.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for parents, babies, and duo teams.
Which guide should I open first?
The getting started page, then controls. World 2 can wait.
Can I solo Carry a Baby?
The design is online co-op. Two accounts work in a pinch — see two accounts. Roles are explained on the players hub.
Do I need codes before I play?
No. There are no live codes. Play first, then bookmark the codes hub.
Why is World 2 so rare?
Lava plus duo desync. Use the World 2 walkthrough and how to protect together.
